The SPOT Market allows you to trade digital assets, create buy orders and sell orders.
You will need to have finalized your KYC and initialized dual authentication on your account to trade on IBEx.
Click on "Exchange" and then "SPOT" from the left side menu to access the SPOT market or click directly here: https://ib.exchange/spot
Here are listed the different existing pairs. The price of the first currency expressed in terms of the second and its evolution over 1 day.
In the example above:
- 1 MAMAR token exchanges for 0.8 IBXE on the first MAMAR/IBXE pair.
- On the second pair, 1 POWER token exchanges for 1.1 IBXE but I don't have any POWER in my account, that's why the "SELL" button appears grayed.
How to create a buy or a sell order?
In order to trade an asset, you must first have deposited the counterparty on IBEx.
Click here to learn how to make a deposit on IBEx.
In the previous exemple, it is proposed to buy MAMAR tokens against IBXE.
Click on the green "BUY" button to buy the digital asset. Click on the red "SELL" button to sell it.
- Enter in the first field the quantity of token to buy or sell (MAMAR in our example).
- Indicate in the unit price of the token to buy or sell.
- The third field shows you the total spent or received in return.
Finally click on the "BUY" or "SELL" button to execute your order.
You will then be asked for your 2FA code. It will be requested once and will not be requested again for a certain period of time as long as you remain logged in to IBEx. However, some actions (which need to be more secure) will require users to re-validate their 2FA code.
If your bid matches another user's buy/sell order (same unit price), then your order will be executed and you will receive the tokens directly to your IBEx account.
If no offer matches yours, then your order will remain pending and you will have to wait for other users to create offers that match yours.
It is possible that your order will be partially executed if the number of tokens you offer to buy or sell is higher than the value of the tokens offered in counterpart at the moment T and for the same price. Then you will need one or more other users to create new offers that match yours.
