Double authentification (2FA)
You must have secured your account by enabling double authentication (2FA) to access the IBEx platform. This is a common practice on crypto platforms to prevent you from stealing your capital (a password is insufficient when it comes to value management).
Open the top right menu and click on "2FA Security":
Step 1:
Install a 2FA application on your phone (example: Google authenticator) then scan the QR code or fill in the secret key in your dual authentication application.
Step 2: enter the code found on your 2FA application and associated to the QR code you just scanned
Step 3 (optional - if you have activated the 2FA on Civicpower): enter your 2FA associated to your Civicpower account.
On the same menu, click on "My account" to get your unique IBEx ID, necessary to make private exchanges.
When you perform certain actions on the platform, , the 2FA code is now valid while you are active on IBEx. It will be asked once and not again for a certain period of time. However certain actions (that need to be more secure) will require users to validate their 2FA code once more.
Once double authentication has been initiated, you'll need to declare your identity or that of your company via a KYC (know your customer) or KYB (know your business) form.
